The Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program (SAPR) reinforces the Department of the Air Force's commitment to eliminate incidents of sexual assault through awareness and prevention education, victim advocacy, response, reporting and accountability. The Department of the Air Force encourages confidential reporting and promotes trauma-informed, person-centered care for personnel who experience sexual assault.

Retired Service members are not eligible for services in the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program. However, the DoD Safe Helpline can assist you in finding civilian services, Veterans (Vet) Centers in your community, or contact the Veterans Affairs (VA). The VA can connect you with a Military Sexual Trauma (MST) coordinator, who can assist you with free treatment for any physical or mental health condition related to your experiences of sexual assault or sexual harassment experienced during military service.  You do NOT need documentation of the MST experiences or a VA disability rating to get care.  For additional information or assistance finding a MST related assistance in your area, you can visit Military Sexual Trauma (MST) | Veterans Affairs (va.gov)

Catch a Serial Offender (CATCH): The CATCH Program provides an opportunity to anonymously disclose alleged offender information to help the DoD identify repeat offenders. Sexual assault victims who make CATCH entries will be notified if the alleged offender information they disclosed matches another case within the CATCH database or associated other databases.
