For those enrolled in TRICARE Prime Remote in the continental United States, a pharmacy copayment will no longer be charged for covered prescriptions, effective Feb. 28, 2026.

This copayment wavier applies to both retail network pharmacies and TRICARE Pharmacy Home Delivery. No actions are required for this change to take effect, and Prime Remote members do not need to file claims for reimbursement. Starting Feb. 28, when a covered prescription is filled at a retail network pharmacy or through home delivery, the copayment will automatically be $0. Note: This copayment waiver does not apply if those living overseas. Active duty family members enrolled in TRICARE Prime Remote Overseas will still pay the pharmacy copayment for the pharmacy option they use.
